Game DVR audio bug in certain games. ex: apex legends

Please follow the steps below: Provide feedback to Team Xbox | Xbox Support

1. Launch Microsoft Store then search for Report a Problem app and install.
   
2. Press and hold the Xbox button, and then select Report a problem to launch the Report a Problem app.
   
3. Select Reproduce with advanced diagnostics.
   
4. Read through the details about media tracing. When you’re ready, select Start trace.
   
5. On the How to reproduce with tracing instructional page, select Continue. Report a Problem will suspend in the background.
   
6. Reproduce the issue that you’re having with audio or video. After you’ve reproduced the problem, press and hold the Xbox button .
   
7. Select Report a problem, and then choose the most appropriate category and subcategory from each dropdown. If you’re not sure what to choose, make your best guess.
   
   • Selecting Cancel will exit out of your problem report and discard the media trace.
     
8. If you have a game clip that also shows the issue you’re experiencing, ensure that Include game clip is selected.
   
9. Enter a short title for your issue. Use [Xbox Forums] Issues with Game DVR audio on Apex Legends
   
10. Enter a description of your issue. Select Submit to complete your report. It may take longer than expected to send a problem report with a media trace, as traces can be quite large.
    

Once complete, post the title of the bug report along with the submission date in this thread.

Yes I believe you are misunderstanding the problem here. The issue is only in Apex legends from what I tested. It is not that there is no sound in the clips. The issue is the front and rear audio speaker channels are not being recorded during clips. Here is one of the clips I recorded on the newer Xbox SX model where the audio sounds as it should.

Contrast that to the first clip in my original post which was recorded on the launch model with the issue in question.

The “Report a Problem” feature allows you and other users to capture the experiences from Xbox One and Series X|S consoles. The feedback we receive can vary between singular app issues to stability reports particular to an OS build. It’s important to note that your feedback may not receive a resolution overnight. Because of the considerable amount of engineering legwork that goes into the investigation and resolution of an issue, it can take time for those updates to make their way.
