Game downloaded but not all of the games files

So i installed State of Decay 2 from the pc gamepass and could never play because it would go through the part with all of the publisher and dev teams and stuff then it would get to a loading screen and freeze, i later found that weirdly enough windows
store didn't install ALL of the games files if any really, because i would go to apps and features to find that it has 0 bytes installed and every time i tried to uninstall then reinstall or reset it would do nothing and since its state of decay 2 it has no
repair option , i would try to download it again but the download would start like normal then be done in the next 10 seconds, i made sure that windows is up to date as well as my drivers but it seems like nothing is working and im at my wits end as what to
do here

Well did you delete all the current game history of Crysis 2 before re downloading corrupted files can stop downloads, but only if it's in the files of the game your trying to download.

Installing the game should not make a difference. I don't have the game installed, but the downloads show up.

Go in to the System menu and see if the files actually downloaded. The first time I tried to download the compatibility pack, it didn't download all the way. The game thought I had downloaded it (and was asking me if I wanted to download again), but when
I looked at the file on the HD, there was an error file there instead of the pack. I deleted the error file, downloaded "again," and it worked.

I could download the episodes but not the actual file "Fable 2" that i need to start the game >.> "Cannot download Fable 2" so basically i got all the files but i cant start the game :S

Does your child have a credit card on file? I think you need one on file if you want to download a free game from xbox.com.
