game download reset

i was downloading hogwarts legacy and left my xbox, came back and it had 1 hr left and said “ready to start” so i tried starting the game as i had done so many times before with different games. However the game did not start, and not only that it reset my download to 13 gb and now says 5 hrs left… why could this happen?

No, what i am asking is why can't i dowload the game directly in the language i choose, instead of having the languages limited due to region code ( as the game is made in english i dont understand why i cant dowload the english version of the game but only
the German one) it makes no sense to me. Funny thing is if i look at the dlc's for the game each one has language choice unlike the game itself

Yes, i would like to know why i cannot pick the game language, i believe i should be able to decide what language i wanna play in. This method as it is now is pointless, i mean at least put all of the countries official languages not just 2

Game languages are determined by the developers. Some games do have an in game menu which allows for language changes, but unfortunately not all of them do.
