Game download confusion

So I re-downloaded dragon age origins yesterday after having bought it on my account quite a long time ago, then deleting it to make room for some other downloads. It let me download it again for free, as it should due to my having purchased it already.
I waited for the download, played the game for a few hours, and went to sleep.

Today, try to play Dragon Age again. It begins to launch the game, showing the title screen, even getting as far as the main menu where I attempted to load my saved game. A message then appears, telling me I must sign into an account that has already purchased
the game. This both angered and confused me, as I only have one live account. On the message were two options: return to dashboard, and sign in to Xbox live. I chose to sign in, and after a short while it told me I had a problem with my connection; an obvious
explanation for my problem.

Upon running a network connection test I found no problems, all visible options confirming my good connection to Xbox live. Seeing this, I decide to try again, assuming it was simply an inexplicable anomaly. Unfortunately I received the same result.

My question is this: does anyone have any notion as to what my problem could be?

IF A GAME I BOUGHT WAS ACCIDENTALLY DELETED, CAN I DOWNLOAD IT AGAIN FOR FREE????

Instead of any confusion about the download history thingy, search the game on the store, and see if tells you "Download Again".

Thanks it is a teen account but I can download the xb1 games I just can’t buy any games. Unfourtunately I don’t have a 360 but this helped my confusion thanks : )

have you tried redownloading the game via the download history, no need to delete it first.

As far as I know there were also a few XBL issues at that time, so that might also played a part in it.

Let us know the results when you try the game again and if the redownload changed anything.
