game doesnt want to download on xbox app for pc!

You may need to clear the cache of the Microsoft Store by following the steps below:

1. On your search bar type "wsreset" or "wsreset.exe"

2. Right-click and run as administrator.

3. Wait for the Microsoft Store app to launch.

4. Restart your PC.

Anyways for PC, can you instead download Xbox App, either from Microsoft Store or from this link: https://www.xbox.com/apps/xbox-app-for-pc

You can link you Xbox account with you PC using the Xbox App. You can then download and access games from there.

still doesnt work, i downloaded the media creation tool clicked on i want to update this pc and everything went on and still doesnt work

Edit: if i just reset the pc to factory will it have the windows still?

When you want a game from the game pass for PC, you need to go through the game pass for PC or the Microsoft store to download the games. They will not download from the app or console companion. Here is the

I had downloaded files on external harddisk from another computer and then copied files to xbox games in C drive....

This is likely the reason why. PC games on the Xbox App have additional protections that prevents files being used from a different install of the game on another computer. If you want to play this on your PC, you need to download the game from the Xbox App directly to your PC.
