    Game disc will not load on new Xbox one


    Every time I put a game disc in it does not load. I don't even hear drive running. Sometimes I get error message but not always. brand new Xbox one. Is there a problem with drive?

    What am i doing wrong when Xbox One is saying insert disc but disc is already loade? I can't get any games to play and this is brand new console set up today.

    Sorry to hear it. Can you please try these steps?

    1. Go to Settings

    2. Select My Disc & Blu Ray

    3. Uncheck Enable BD Live

    4. Click Clear Persistent Storage 3 times

    5. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down

    6. Unplug everything from the console and let it sit for 5 minutes.

    If the issue still persists after that then I would recommend returning the console to the store for an exchange.

    Thank you. Do you have an Xbox App on your mobile device? If yes, kindly search the game LEGO Harry Potter Collection from there and then click on "Download to console".

    Once the game is fully installed simply insert your disc to play the game.

    Hi Snowy, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Try to take your console offline and check if the disc will install via this method.

    Use your console offline

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.

    3. Select Go offline.

    After that insert the disc.
