    Game Disc Sudden Issue


    I got my xb1 when it first came out. It's not a day one edition though.

    From time to time (maybe several times total, but not in a long time) I've had game or movie read errors, but reinserting a couple times always fixed them.

    I've had rot tomb raider in the Xbox1 for awhile, and no issues for long long time. Played just two days ago, with NO disc changes, and today it wouldn't work.

    Tried a few reinserts

    Tried holding power for 10 seconds, unplugging the power for 3 mins, turning back on, put the disc in and same prob.

    Tried other game discs, they all ask the same, do you own this game? And offer to take me to buy it digitally.

    Tried a bluray and it worked fine. So I'm pretty stuck here.

    If anyone has had this can you explain what happened and what may have fixed it?

    GTA IV On Demand Unreadable?

    I have the same issue playing Skyrim! I've been playing it for about two months on demand and all of a sudden, I try to load up a game and it says Disc Unreadable?!?! What disc??

    I have had this issue with Fallout 3...I took the disc to a friends house who did not load the 7/19 update and the game runs fine. I think it has something to do with the new update as this is the only game in my collecttion that all of a sudden can't read.

    Had this myself,blu-rays work fine but game discs do not.

    Unfortunately you would need to send your console of for repair.

    As your console is from day one there will be a fee to get it repaired though.

    I have the same issue playing Skyrim! I've been playing it for about two months on demand and all of a sudden, I try to load up a game and it says Disc Unreadable?!?! What disc??

    Is this only happening to me?

    I'm not having those issues but I am having some startup tray issues. I put the game in and in more cases than not after a few seconds it says Open Tray? I eject the disc and hit it again, it usually does the same thing for 2 or 3 tries. Then all of a sudden
    I hear the disc spinning and the HD begins to load the game? None of the issues I've had with the games startup process happened in the first week and a half, odd things started happening the weekend before Christmas?

    Cannot access previously purchased DLC

    I have this issue 2 I bought the Wizard's Tower DLC and all of a sudden it disappeared for me.

    If you go to my games and apps and then press start over Oblivion and go to manage games and add-ons you should see all your DLC there.

    If you had the goty addition on a downloadable DLC disc install the disc then go to manage games and add-ons for that disc and you should be able to download the DLC on it.

    However you'll still need the disc play the game with the DLCs. Work for my goty fallout 3.

    Edit: I just checked it and I was able to download that missing DLC.
