Game disc scratched due to Xbox console dropped

My Halo Reach scratched due to Xbox consoled dropped on the floor. This resulted the game unable to play anymore. I need to get the disc replaced in Singapore. Anyone can advice how to get it replaced?

If the disc is scratched badly enough, it still will not work in the console. It either did not install correctly due to the scratches (most likely) or installed and still not recognizing the disc (less likely). Your best bet to salvage the disc would be
to borrow or rent another copy of the game, install to the hard drive from that disc and use your original disc afterwards for the disc check. Still no guarantee this will work, because if it is scratched badly enough your 360 may still not recognize the disc
to verify the content.

Awful MS Support

I tweeted XboxSupport earlier this evening about my 2 weeks of Xbox One ownership - 1 failed kinect, 1 failed console (disc drive) and one scratched disc due to the failing disc drive.
They replied and seemed interested, asking me which game it was. I replied stating it was Just Dance 2014. They asked if I had been in contact with the game manufacturer which I replied that I doubt Ubisoft would be interested in a scratched disc caused by a malfunctioning premium console within it's first two weeks of ownership. I said I think MS should be responsible. They said unfortunately there's nothing they can do!

Ridiculous really.

You would need to buy another copy from a local or online retailer.

This is one of the many reasons why you should never move your console with a game disc inside.

Can't say for sure whether or not it's the console or the disc. If you don't notice any problems in any other games, I'd say it is a disc problem. My original Grand Theft Auto 4 disc was very scratched and driving at High speeds would cause a rapid FPS drop.

Thank you for letting me know. Game crash for disc games may be due to a disc that has scratches and dents. Please make sure to clean the disc first.

The freezing is probably the framerate dropping.
