Game disc playing without it being in my console and I don't own the digitalcopy of it?

So while I had my console on I was moving my new entertainment center in my room I had ghost recon in and playing while getting it setup. After I was done setting it up and playing a few hours I ejected the disc and the game didn't send me straight back
to home. I tried playing other games and ejecting them and they send me straight home but ghost recon still is up playing after the disc is out. I'm not complaining i just want to know what happened to cause it. PS I don't own the digitalcopy of the game.

1 GOOD IDEA FOR XBOX ONE

I liked the idea back at E3 about being able to play my games without putting the disc in, but since then things have had to change and you need the disc. Now if the kinnect is that good that it recognises loads of stuff, why cant it see a disc on my table
so i can play the game without swapping discs over. Surley there must be some way of getting the console to recognise what games i still own like showing it the disc every so many days or putting them in the drive taking them out and i have a few days i dont
need put them back in. Its just a thought

Deleting Game Profiles

On my old GameCube, if I turned it on without a disc in, I had options which included viewing and deleting game profiles. When I turn on my Xbox console without the disc in, it immediately takes me to the Xbox Live sign-in screen. How do I delete game profiles?
I'm currently playing Batman Arkham Asylum (on disc), and I don't see any delete options there, either. Thanks.

If you have the Xbox app installed on a mobile or tablet device, you can find the game and download it to your console without being charged, then insert the disc and the Xbox should be able to play the game without installing from the disc, it just uses the disc to prove you own the game.

I believe the framerate drops occur when your try to play the game with your digital license because as you have stated, you don't own this DLC digitally. Since the DLC is owned physically on disc, the disc must be in the console to verify ownership of license
and the data is sent to the publishers to allow play.

It's best as you stated since you own the game and DLC on disc, to just play the game with the physical copy, and don't try to launch the game without the disc in the console. Do what works best, and if the framerate continues to drop, then I recommend re-installing
the game using the disc.

No. The only way to play without the disc is to purchase the game digitally. The disc is required to be in the console to verify you actually own the game.

Are the games you own on disc? If so, then that will be why you get the message to subscribe, as the Xbox Series S console is a digital console only, so your disc games will not register on there as being owned, as you need the disc in the console to play the games.
