Game Data Not Transferring To New One S

I just upgraded from the One to the One S, both are connected to my home network and I transferred data using the Network Share feature. I am signed into each machine with two accounts, one is mine and subscribed to Live and the other is my kids. I really
only want Lego Marvel data to transfer across, since they spent a year collecting more superheroes. That particular data is saved under my kids account, the NON Live account. I can see the data store on the xBox under their account, but there is no option
to save, backup, or transfer this data.

So how do I get this data over to the new One S machine?

Transferring new data to Xbox One S

I am interested in buying an Xbox one S, but I am not sure how hard it will be to transfer my save and game data to it. I'm sure I will have to reinstall games, but as far as save data goes, what's the best way to transfer that? I also have a 1TB external
hard drive attached, but how do I tell if all the necessary data is on that for the transfer? Also can I tell what data is saved to that hard drive versus the internal hard drive?

To clarify further, the
Network Game Transfer would only transfer the games and apps from the old console to the new console; other data like profile data and save data is attached to an account's profile and backed up to Xbox Live. To redownload the save/profile data for an account
in a particular game, just launch that game from the console while the account is signed in and connected to Xbox Live .

You cant use them on the new S consoles, but any older one you can. You can transfer all the data to the different hdd with the new console anyway so no worries.

What would you suggest:

1. Buying the game digitally in my One S so that both the game and data transfer easily to the Series S?

2. Buy the digital game on my Series S and have the saved data there once I log in?

I just plugged a 250GB 360 S HDD into a 120GB RE5 console. The transfer dialog popped up. The new transfer software supports Moving data from a larger HDD to a smaller one as you have the option to select what content to move.

Incidentally, the new transfer software can Move XBOX Originals data. That appears to be the only way to move original XBOX save game file data as there's no Move option using regular System Settings, Memory.

Also, you can Transfer from either the cable to the HDD, or from the HDD to the cable. To move from the HDD to the cable-connected drive, highlight the HDD from System Settings, Memory, hit Y, then choose Transfer Content.
