Game Controller Settings list is empty

Hello everyone,

I got a little Probleme here, I plugged an XBox 360 Controller in and it got recognized by Windows 10 and on the Guide Button one green light is on.

But the main problem is that when I go to Device and Hardware and do the usual thing "Right Click > Settings" the list is empty where it actually say which controller it is and the Status and do a calibration and so on. But I don't have it somehow. I can't
calibrate my controller nor use it in games.

I'm actually able to press the Guide Button and it opens an Menu where I can record the game but the main functions like using it doesn't work.

Any idea how to fix that?

Gray Screen, with sound

Reset display setting to factory default.

• Make sure the disc tray is empty.
• Turn on the console.
• On the controller, press and hold the right trigger and Y.

This will reset video to factory setting and then your console will restart.

I am just going to keep throwing ideas out there.

 

Xbox Controller wont turn on? I have new batteries and it is plugged into the xbox.

Have you tried:

- Another new set of batteries, controller NOT plugged into the console.

- Battery compartment EMPTY, controller is plugged into the console.

- Battery compartment EMPTY, controller is plugged into the console with a different Micro-USB cord.

Let's make sure we rule out the odd ends.
