    Game Chat on Xbox one

Recently I have been having problems with game chat. My Xbox parties work pefectly fine but it's my game chat that is having problems. My mic doesn't register any sound in game and no one can hear me bu when i switch back to party it starts to work fine.
This happens on many games, i have checked and all my privacy settings are unrestricted and i honestly don't know what to do.

    :)

Can someone with an XBOX one still communicate and have parties with people who have XBox One S and XBox One X

We have two consoles in the house - an Xbox One X and an Xbox One S in the kids room. I have no trouble chatting with them (either via game chat or party chat)

    Xbox One Official Chat Headset

Hey there Luke thanks for taking the time to bring this inquiry to us.

    As stated on our
Chat headset page , Once you've connected your Xbox One Chat Headset to your Xbox One Wireless Controller, you're ready to use it for in-game and party chat. So in short no, it will only allow chat not game audio. Hope this helps!

I've noticed it on PvZ because it's the only game I've been playing in the last 3 days. I'm on the beta preview. Are you guys on it too?
