    Hi was wondering for any help, me and the mrs play split screen but for some reason game chat doesn’t work at all if anyone’s has these issues or fixed it some help would be appreciated

    Let's try these troubleshooting steps.

    1. Enable the headset mic:

    Press the Xbox Sky button > Audio & Music > Headset mic > On.

    2. Adjust the microphone settings:

    Launch Modern Warfare 2 > Audio Settings > Microphone Device > If it’s set to default, try changing it to your microphone or headset.

    3. Enable headset & speakers:

    Open Xbox settings > General > Volume & audio output > Additional options > Party chat output > Headset & speakers.

    For those still with MW2 - question

    were you dropped on your head a few to many times? Do you think I would care about party chat with someone split screening? I have no intentions of playing that god awful game MW2. I was trying to find a work around for party chat being disabled on
    this game thats coming out. wanted to know if my idea worked which space answered.

    Iv done the steps you said to take an it still does it on mw2 my mic is not working in game chat on dmz iv tryed everything nothing will work it works in party chat but not game chat it works fine on vandgard just mw2 I can't get mic to work it's getting really annoying
