    Game chat not Working after Com Ban


    I was recently communication banned for a day. The ban lifted but the issue now is game chat isnt working. In some games like Cold War, it shows an icon of a headset crossed out. Any explanations as to why it doesn’t work while the ban is lifted?

    No just game chat doesn't work in general, I would test it but I got com banned but I can still play Fallout76

    Xbox Live Party Chat not working after 24 hour com ban

    Sorry for your issue. Have you checked if you are beeing muted in the party? If so you just habe to unmute yourself. Just scroll over your own gamertag in the party. There you should have the option to Mute or unmute yourself.

    I know that sometimes there might be a slight delay after a comm ban, I would suggest rebooting your console as well. If the issue persists I would recommend reaching out to MS Customer Support to help get your comm privledges restored.

    This is False Reporting and Account Abuse

    I did but he was still Spamming after that report came in and I got Com Ban should that not take affect if he was still spamming I shouldn't be Com Ban if he Responds back after the message he reported me over that means I wouldn't be Com Banned

    So in that Case that counted as Abuse of Player Reputation

    Regardless of if he thought it was a threat or not that would of been Blocked since he Respond back in Spamming

    Hello!

    A coms ban should have no impact on your ability to play games, only being able to send messages, party chat, etc. If you're not able to play games at all, there would be something else going on. Does it show that you only have a communications ban on the
    enforcement page?
