Game Chat Communication

So i have been having problems with talking in game chat with all of my games. Party chat works fine but my mic just doesn’t work in game chat. Its not my headset cuz ive already tried using a different one and its not my controller cuz ive already updated
it as well. Hope someone can help.

What game are you having issues with specifically? You can be muted in some unless you change that. I would also check to be sure you don't have any restrictions on your account and that it's an adult. You may have some restrictions which would explain why
it's not working.

If party chat is not working on console. Second option is try it on xbox app on mobile

Have you checked your privacy settings? maybe you have game chat disabled.

Try and uncheck the microphone permissions in the privacy settings, check it back, and after that the apps & games that require microphone will appear. After that you'll only have to select which game you'd like to use your microphone. I did that for Skype
and it did work. It may be working for you too.
