    Is there a way to rectify getting a green square for my videos. My past videos work fine but any new ones just seem to get a green square with working audio

    The HDMI input is probably not a capture device, but a pass-through to the laptop's LCD.



    You would want a capture device to capture video from the 360. I'm not sure if the latest iteration has enabled HDCP when games are being played. You may need to go with Component video capture instead of HDMI.

    There are no Video or Sound capture devices available on your laptop.

    You might have disabled them in Windows -> Settings -> Privacy or uninstalled their drivers.

    The Registry keys look like something from a virtual video capture device, as e.g. audio/video cable, OBS or similar. Nothing, however, is shown in the diagnostics file, so the device was removed without Registry being cleared.

    Hi TriedBasket635,

    By default, the video clips that you captured are saved to the Captures folder which is located in the Videos folder. Regarding your concern, it is possible that the video clips weren't captured successfully that's why it doesn't show up on the Captures
    folder. Can you tell us if you're getting the same issue if you record another game clips on your game? Also, is your Windows 10 updated?
