    Game capture problem Xbox series S


    Xbox series S.\ Recordings won't last the full duration in both "start record" & "record what just happened" functions.\ Playing back the recording it will freeze after a few seconds or will record later than initiated.\ Recordings for 30 seconds will only get 7 seconds for example.\ Time on the recording selection screen says 30:07\ I've tested it on multiple games and starting record both with the controller, and with the in game overlay function both yielding the same results.\ Sorry I'm new here, was told to come here, my previous post got deleted because mods thought it was a meme or didn't have enough info.. not sure what else to say or go.

    No sorry, it's not possible. Only the Xbox One and Series X|S can capture pictures and videos directly via the console.

    Game captures are terrible.

    Xbox series x. There is so much documentation about this issue, no-one has a solution (apart from streaming on twitch, saving the vod and then editing the video). Compared with my xbox one captures, taken well over a year ago, they are awful, choppy, stuttering messes. This is not a problem on my end, this is a problem with the xbox series x capture system. The fact captures are STILL terrible is a joke, given the series x was released over 18 months ago.
