    Game bar turning down all other apps audio


    Every time I press win+G all my audio levels lower and don't return to normal for awhile and wont while in a xbox party. I've looked for a setting to turn off whatever noise suppression software this is but I cant find it. I play a lot of escape from tarkov and the game bar messing with my audio is a huge issue for me.

    Xbox one audio

    the mixer audio settings on you slide out bar should control the audio to your headset I'm not sure what turns the volume of other peoples down, you may need to play with it.

    if you go to audio in the snap menu youll see a little bar with people at one side and a controller at the other if you turn it all he way to people you souldnt hear any game sound, be sure to turn the headset down aswell so that whoevers speaking doesnt
    deafen you.

    Been having the same problem for just as long. This is definitely some kind of Windows 11 and Xbox game bar issue. Audio is perfect in every other app but the game bar.

    Click on your gamertag pic, scroll down to audio, the second bar under where you have the option to hear either the game or people more or less. Turn that down to hear the game more instead of people, then the option to hear your voice talk. Turn that
    down as well. It should stop the ech .

    Oh that's an odd one. Does turning the other volumes down help at all? Or is it still too quiet in general. Wasnt sure if the other sounds were muting the speach at all. I know I find this with a few games. Didnt have issues myself with a headset
    but I always play with audio settings before a game. I usually turn general effects down and music on all games.
