game bar shuts itself off

The game bar is supposed to be temporary like the Xbox guide

I understand that you are having trouble using the Xbox Game Bar. If you are on a PC, please try the steps below.

Initially, I recommend that you check for new updates in Windows Update;

Press the Windows key + i and go to Windows Update;

Click on check for updates and do all pending updates;

Update the Microsoft Store apps;

Open the store and click on Library;

Click on Get updates and wait for all the apps to update;

Try resetting the Xbox apps;

Press the Windows key + i and go to Apps;

Click on Apps and Features;

Select the Xbox Game Bar and click on Advanced Options;

Scroll down and click on Reset;

Note: Repeat this process for all Xbox-related apps;

Now try recording again using the Game Bar;

As I mentioned in my original post, I've given the Xbox Game Bar app permissions. It's a bug. It shuts itself off even when I have the option turned on for it to turn my mic on by default when I record.

Have you noticed that your xbox has been getting unusually hot? Is it the older model or the new slim? Do you have it in a closed space were its not getting good air flow or around other electronic that are on and producing alot of heat?... You might try
putting it in a well ventilated spot and see if that helps

I bought my XB1 in November of 13. About three months after I started having problems with this as well. I would unplug the power block and reboot and everything would function properly. BUT, just today 19 months after purchase, the platform won't turn on.
On, off, on, off. I tried everything. Called MS support, there answer was send it in or buy a new one. No, I won't buy a new one, and I won't send it in. I'm ready to toss this thing in the garbage and get a play station. I didn't have many issues with the
360. I had to buy a second one four years after the first one. It still runs strong for the guy I sold it too. This XB1 though, is junk. If MS is basing their reputation o. This platform, it might not turn out so well for them.
