Game Bar recorded audio sounds a bit "glitchy"

So yeah, I have been playing Minecraft with my friends while talking thru Discord and using Windows Game Bar to record some footages, after recording, the first 30 seconds of the video sounds totally fine, but after that, my friends' voices throughout the
whole video's audio sounded "choppy", except for the game sounds.

I also tested this while video chatting with my friends on a browser, their voices totally sounded choppy.

How can I fix this? I have enabled "Record audio when I record a game" and it still doesn't do a thing

    :)

XBOX Game bar recorded audio glitchy

    Hi EYEcuDV

My name is Andre Da Costa; an Independent Consultant, Windows Insider MVP and Windows & Devices for IT MVP. I'm here to help you with your problem.

Microsoft is currently working on improvements for the Xbox Game bar. You might want to download and install the beta to see if it helps.

Here are some things you can try to see if it helps:

Turn the Game Bar on or off in Windows 10:

    1. Navigate to the Xbox app within Windows 10.

    2. Select Settings and then Game DVR.

    3. Turn ëRecord game clips and screenshots using Game DVRí to off.

Turn the Game Bar on or off in Windows 10 using the registry:

    1. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\GameDVR.

    2. Change the AppCaptureEnabled DWORD value to 0 to turn it off. Change it to 1 to turn it back on.

    3. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\GameConfigStore.

    4. Change the GameDVR_Enabled DWORD value to 0 to turn it off. Change it to 1 to turn it back on.

To remove the Game Bar altogether:

If you would like to remove the Xbox app altogether, try this.

    1. Open a Windows PowerShell as an administrator.

    2. Type or paste ëGet-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackageí

    3. Let the process complete.

Let us know how it turns out.

Game Bar Does Not Record my voice during party chat

    Hi Mbathula,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. With recording your voice it will not do this through the game bar itself. You either have to do it through the Xbox companion app or have a capture card. As this guide for

    setting up streaming windows 10
shows it will only record from the Microphone on the PC not the headset.

    Recorded audio

Record game play with or without sounds from your game and your microphone, and choose the audio quality.

    • To record game sounds with your game clips, turn on Record audio when I record a game.
    • To choose a different audio quality than the default, select the Audio quality box and choose one of the options.
    • To record through your microphone, turn on Record audio when I record a game.
    Thanks,

    Brad

Audio too low from desktop apps when using Capture on Windows 10

It's like it used to record from the mic and from the audio sent to the headset and audio sent to the speakers but now its the mic and only the audio output selected in the sound setting in the system tray on the windows task bar.

Xbox Game Bar not recording audio

Hi there! This is Virginia O.

I understand that you are experiencing issues with gamebar.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please check audio recording settings by pressing Windows + G to open the Xbox Game Bar. Click on the Settings (gear icon) and go to Capturing.

Under Audio to record, select All to ensure game audio is included.

And then verify Windows sound settings. To do this, go to Settings > System > Sound. Ensure your default playback device is correctly set like speakers or headset. Check that Windows audio enhancements are disabled.

Next is to enable audio capture in Windows Settings. Open Windows Settings and go to Gaming > Captures. Make sure Record audio when I record a game is turned ON.

Then update audio drivers. Do this by opening Device Manager and go to Sound, video, and game controllers. Right-click your audio device and select Update driver.

After that is to clear Xbox Game Bar cache and then restart. Hold the power button for 10 seconds, unplug your PC for a few minutes, then restart.

    Thank you for your cooperation.
