Game bar parties not working 0x00000000 something went wrong try again later

Hi, so i built my pc yesterday and updated my game bar to have the party chat. Problem is every time I try to start a party or join my friends party, it says to try again later because something went wrong (0x00000000). I tried to go in the app advanced
settings on windows and "fix it", it didn't solve my problem. I tried to check my firewall to see if it was activated and it was. I checked if teredo was working and it was. I am out of solution for this. I thought it could be related to some drivers missing
but when I check for updates it says I am up to date. The thing is, it works fine on my laptop. Did anyone have this problem and solved it? Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello, I am having the same issue but I do not need to update, and it also seems to only work on the console copanion app for me. If you have any other way to fix this please help

as you have just done a reinstall, go to the windows store and check for any updates, game bar did have one available yesterday.

Hi Simigag and everyone who has this issue. I had to restart my computer every time this happened to make it work even though it is updated.

But make sure it is updated as mentioned by Tezzarrific

One easy solution always fixed this error for me:

1) Search Xbox game bar in the windows start menu

2) Click on app settings

3) Click on terminate then wait a few before activating the game bar again with Windows + G

If this doesn't work their are two more buttons; Repair and reset which might work
