Game bar not opening in Microsoft Office 2016 using Win + g command

I dont think you can record office with record game bar

Thank you for letting us know what troubleshooting steps you have already completed. We recommend that you try signing out of the Xbox Game Bar and back in and seeing if the reauthentication helps the issue. To do this, please click the gear icon on the top ribbon and navigate to "Accounts". Once there, click "Sign out" underneath the Xbox Network section. To sign back in, please follow the same steps above but select "Sign in".

Additionally, please make sure that the Xbox Game Bar is completely updated. To do this, please open the Microsoft Store on your computer and select the "Library" icon in the bottom left. From here, please select "Get updates" and then "Update all".

You can also try uninstalling the Xbox Game Bar via PowerShell. Please note that PowerShell commands cannot be undone, and it is recommended that you perform a backup of your files in case of corruption. To uninstall the Xbox Game Bar via PowerShell, please follow the steps below:

1. Search for "PowerShell" using the search bar in the bottom left corner of your screen
   
2. Right-click the PowerShell app and select "Run as administrator"
   
3. When PowerShell opens, please copy and paste the command below and then press Enter:
   
   get-appxpackage *Microsoft.XboxGamingOverlay* | remove-appxpackage
   
4. Once the command runs, close out of the PowerShell app
   
5. Press the "Win + G" keys to confirm that the Xbox Game Bar is uninstalled
   
6. To reinstall, open the Microsoft Store on your PC and search for "Xbox Game Bar" and install
   
7. Press the "Win + G" keys to launch the Xbox Game Bar app and sign in with your Microsoft Account

With the command Windows key + G you open the Game Bar but first check if the Game Bar is active.

Go to settings>games>Xbox Game Bar and activate the function.

If games aren't being recognized by Xbox Game Bar, you can add it to the games list. To do so, you'll only need to launch the game, and then
open Game Bar (Win + G), open Settings > and tick
"Remember this is a game".

do you mean press win+g to open the xbox game bar? if so when you go to accounts i cant find the sign in options. there is only a sign out option
