    Game Bar Issue - "gaming features not available."


    Game Bar doesn't recognise Sea of Thieves Steam version, which means it won't allow me to record game clips using Game Bar. It shows me this box

    And when I tick that box, it immediately unticks itself. I have uninstalled Sea of Thieves and Game Bar itself, but nothing changed.
    I also have Sea of Thieves through Microsoft, and it does not have this problem at all.

    I'm in the Beta version of Windows Insider, so the issue could be related to that.

    Sea of Thieves just had Easy Anti-Cheat implemented, so I guess that could've messed up with something somewhere too?

    Unfortunately that feature is not available on the Xbox game bar.

    Windows logo key + ALT + R doesn't record sound of video played by Edge, but does it if played by Firefox

    I was trying to replicate your situation, it seems Edge using the game bar recording feature is working as expected

    Probably is a functionality between Edge and Game Bar to avoid any DRM issues
