Game Bar doesn't open when pressing 360 controller Home button

Discus and support Game Bar doesn't open when pressing 360 controller Home button in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; The Game Bar does open when I press Win + G but it doesn't open when I press the Home button on my Xbox 360 wireless controller.     Game Bar doesn't open when pressing 360 controller Home button


    The Game Bar does open when I press Win + G but it doesn't open when I press the Home button on my Xbox 360 wireless controller. I have that option checked in both the Game Bar settings and the game settings in Windows. Still, pressing the Home button
    doesn't open the Home Bar. I've reset the Game Bars settings via Windows but that didn't help. I've downloaded the Xbox 360 Accessory software but that just makes it show how much battery is left when I press the Home Button, so I uninstalled it. Any ideas?

    Do you see anything at all when you press the white Home button on the controller? Sometimes when I start my Xbox One up, I get a black screen and I have to press the white Home button which will open the side bar menu. Then I press Home and it brings
    up the home screen. It's very strange but I get this black screen sometimes too.

    The Windows 10 Game Bar can be used to do what you've asked here. The Beta App's main function is to download Game Pass games (which actually download via the Windows Store).

    To open the Game Bar hold the Windows key and press G, or press the Xbox button on an Xbox One or Xbox 360 controller.

    Try opening your Xbox menu by pressing the home button on your controller, then clicking "audio". There should be a volume bar for game vs voice chat below the regular audio bar. Moving this bar to the right makes the game louder and voice chat quieter,
    moving it to the left makes voice chat louder and the game quieter. Hope this helps!
