Game audio wont work on casting to my ipad.

I'm having a similar issue. On both iPads I see the Xbox one. When I try to cast, Netflix does come up, but the cast is never established.

I have the lastest Version of ios(ipad 3) and also the lastest Version of the xbox OS.

I have no audio when i'm watching gameclips in the smartglass app.

But when i go to my onedrive app on my ipad to watch the gameclips i have audio.

Any idea?

So party chat and mic work but the game audio wont play ? Any ideas ?

Why?

It's outdated not to mention there are far easier methods like miracast or vlc even DLNA and you don't even need to open ports for it

Even phone casting works better and it's not limited by codecs AA long as your phone or device casting supports it it can be casted

With media Center you had limits on what movie and audio types you could play

With miracasst and other steaming methods available thats not an issue anymore
