Game audio being weird.

Hey Microsoft community, wondering if this is happening to anyone else. It started a while ago, maybe near the end of 2020. When I had a game open, the audio would stop when I open the home screen. Only on games too, like Disney+, YouTube, etc. still have audio when opening the home screen. I just wondered why it cut out for games and not apps. If there is a fix or if it's some type of update, let me know please!

I recommend trying the solutions below.

Solution 1:

Step 1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the console for at least 10 seconds to open the Power center.

Step 2. Then unplug the power supply from your console and wait for 3 minutes.

Step 3. Plug the power supply back into the Xbox console.

Step 4. Press the Xbox button on the console to turn it on again.

Solution 2:

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options:

*Select the option to keep your games and apps so that they are not deleted, also make sure you know your email and password as they will be removed from the console and you will need to add them again.

*If the option to keep your games and applications doesn't solve the problem, do the same procedure again, but choose to delete everything from the console, as it may have something corrupted.

Solution 3:

Update your offline, follow the instructions in the article below.

No its like everytime i play a game, not just when i open it. Like its every time as if it were an update. Like its supposed to happen, but i never had an update for my xbox during the time it started happening, it wasnt there one day and the next it was. also I mean like when I press the home button on my controller while in game, to pull up the home-screen thing on the left hand side of the screen

Already checked that and like above nothing else sounds weird, except video games. Blu-ray's, streaming services, my cable, everything. Only weird thing is that games output a weird audio signal that isn't full.

I like the story and the way they did the audio, but the combat is a little weird sometimes and can get tedious. Overall the game is amazing though.
