    Game Assist (Preview) message, does not allow me to use it

    A couple weeks ago it was working perfectly. Now (1st of May, 2025) I tried to use it again and it does not allow me, claiming that it needs an updated version of Windows 11. It did not say what caused the problem and did not explain how to solve the problem; I didn't find anything useful on the page opened by clicking on the "Learn More" button. What is the problem and what can I do to be able to use Game Assist again?

    What I have tried until now:

    1. Repair and reset Game Bar on Settings
    2. Uninstalled and installed it again
    3. Installed Microsoft Edge Beta Version (I saw a post somewhere claiming this would solve the problem). I opened it one time and tried installing Game Assist through it.
    System Info:

    • Microsoft Windows 11 Home Single Language
    • Version: 10.0.26100 Build 26100
    • CPU: Intel i7 11th
    • GPU: NVIDIA RTX 3060
    Additional Info:

    • I use Microsoft Edge as my default browser.
    • I only use Game Assist when playing games bought on Epic Games, like Rocket League, to listen to music while playing (in YouTube Music).

    Please confirm that all Windows updates are installed. Also, could you share your exact Windows build version (Settings > System > About > Windows specifications)? As a test, try using Game Assist on a different user profile on the same PC. That can help determine if the issue is linked to your current Windows profile.

    Thanks for the response.

    - Update your graphics card driver by going to the manufacturer's website and downloading the latest version for your model. Alternatively, you can use Device Manager to check for updates automatically. To do this, press Windows + X keys, select Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right-click on your graphics card and choose Update driver.

    - Update your Windows system by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and clicking on Check for updates. Install any available updates and restart your PC if prompted.

    - If none of the above steps work, you may need to uninstall and reinstall Minecraft Preview Version from the Microsoft Store. To do this, go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features, find Minecraft Preview Version and click on Uninstall. Then, go to the Microsoft Store, search for Minecraft Preview Version and click on Install.

    I'll give that a try and let you know what happens. So far the update assistant says Windows is up to date. I'll see if there's a newer version of the update assistant available.

    NOTE: Not Windows Update. The Update Assistant provided through Microsoft's website.

    You need to check if your Windows version has pending updates and perform them. Afterwards you'll also need to update your sound drivers from your OEM's website. While there make sure you also have the latest Chipset, Display, Network, USB and all other drivers, comparing with the version presently installed in Device Manager.
