Game arrived late and damaged!

I was told that I would receive the game on release day. Well, that did not happen and I had to wait the whole weekend to finally receive it on Monday. Then when I did receive it, it was damaged! The case was deformed, shattered, and broken. I need compensation.
Your whole system is so bad to get in touch with the Xbox live rewards program.

I can answer a couple of your concerns but I'm not sure how much help I'd be.

If you go to replace an accessory and follow the steps at http://myservice.xbox.com, you should be able to make the repair order with $0 self-shipping once you're e-mailed a label. I may be missing something
here if the Support rep you spoke to told you something different.

This is entirely dependent on your network connection, download speed and bandwidth. If you're installing by disc you're able to play while the game installs as it can still read off the disc. If you're downloading the game from the Store, it will take much
longer and of course, game files are far larger for this new generation.

I'd suggest recalibrating the Kinect. If the sensor is moved or placed very close to speakers, your commands won't be as precise.

 

Controller arrived damaged

There is no way to stream music/movies from the PC to Xbox. You need to load them onto the Skydrive and then you can access the files. Sucks I know as I was really disappointed when I found this out (like you, the hard way). I was listening to a Xbox magazine
podcast and they were even complaining about it.

 

Physical disc purchases from the microsoftstore.com are not part of the reward program other than if you are a member you are given a reward credit. For damaged goods you will need to reach out to microsoftstore.com support to initiate a return.
