    Further Discord Support for Xbox


    As the function is new, I can understand why the following items are not already available. However I would like to see:

    A Twitch Party Chat pass through for Discord on Xbox. I stream on Twitch through my Xbox at times and having this would make it a better experience for the viewers and myself/friends in Discord.

    There are times that my Discord friends will stream their content within Discord. This isn't exactly a voice chat feature, but the ability to quickly see their streams would be awesome.

    Noise suppression through the Discord Voice Chat seems a little lower in quality than that of Xbox Party Chat or that of Discord's PC/Mobile equivalent.

    There are numerous other features in the Discord Mobile App as well as the PC application I would love see come to a full Discord integration. I know this is a new experience and a much needed one to begin with, but fleshing out a full Discord app for the console would be an amazing feature.

    Indeed, and since we have performed all the necessary steps on your Xbox, another option will be reaching out to Discord support to check options available on their end or to get this investigated further.

    I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with linking your Discord account to your Xbox. Please try the following steps to fix the problem:



    1. On your Xbox, go to Settings > Account > Linked social accounts and unlink your Discord account.

    2. On your PC or mobile device, open the Discord app and go to User Settings > Connections and disconnect your Xbox account.

    3. Restart both your Xbox and your Discord app.

    4. On your Xbox, go to Settings > Account > Linked social accounts and link your Discord account again. You should receive a code on your screen.

    5. On your PC or mobile device, open the Discord app and go to User Settings > Connections and connect your Xbox account. Enter the code that you received on your Xbox.

    6. On your Xbox, launch the Discord app and try to join a server.

    Things to keep in mind:

    - Features typically found in Xbox party chat are not supported in Discord voice channels, such as Invite everyone to game, Join game, Switch to game chat, Party overlay, View profile card, and more.

    - You can’t mix Discord friends with Xbox friends. A Discord voice channel will contain Discord friends, while Xbox party chat will contain Xbox friends.

    - Switching between Discord voice channels on console is not supported. You’ll need to retransfer audio from Discord again to switch to a new voice channel.

    - Discord voice channel audio can’t be broadcast through Xbox live streaming.

    - Discord is not available in all countries/regions.
