Full Shutdown in Xbox “What do you want to do?” Menu

Ok, i've found out what was the problem.

If you "Turn Off" your Xbox by Pressing Xbox Button and take it afterwards from your power supply, the Disc-Bug will affect the Console with the next Start.

To avoid this, you have to shutdown the Xbox from Power Settings and chose "Full Shutdown".

I never realised before that "Turn Off" is not the same as "Full Shutdown".

Maybe it would be a great enhancement, if "Full Shutdown" becomes avaiable on the Xbox Quick Menu.

Hey, it seems to be working now. After restarting multiple times. No everything always works normally. Thanks for the reply. One thing i noticed is when you change xbox settings to do full shutdown or quick shutdown the shutdown or restart buttons dont work in that menu. Everything else seems fine.

You can do a full shutdown by going to settings and power and select full shut down. Or you can simply hold the power button down for 30 seconds and do a hard reset that way. I always prefer to do the full shut down though via the menu but either option

Hello AgEd77, this may be happening because it is not doing the full shutdown on the console, to do this must do the full shutdown through the console settings.

Xbox will only turn off completely if you're in: General Settings » Health and Boot Mode"Total Shutdown.

To be honest I would perform a full shut down and reboot on the console (power down from the power settings in the settings menu, full shutdown). It shouldn't be doing this, more than likely a reboot will correct it.
