Discus and support Full Screen Experience issue on Rog Xbox Ally X in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; I didn't find this posted on other threads. Apologies if it is already.     Full Screen Experience issue on Rog Xbox Ally X


    I didn't find this posted on other threads. Apologies if it is already.

    I have noticed recently with the full screen experience on the Rog Xbox Ally X when you start it from it being off or a restart, if you have 2 or more Windows open ( games, other store fronts or anything) , when you go into the task switcher to close one, the window will close but then your left with a blank grey screen.

    the only way to get back to another screen is to either hit the Xbox button and go home or hold the Xbox button down and switch to another window.

    I believe it should at least go back to the Xbox app automatically instead of staying blank.

    Once you go to another window or back to the Xbox app, you do not have the issue anymore unless you restart or turn off and back on.

    You should not be running anything at 120hz on a portable device. Your battery will make a flood look tame how fast it empties. I'm sure some games will but it's not a good idea

    This is a Windows handheld, and it plays windows games, and only PlayAnywhere games would be playable from your Xbox library

    at this time there is no indication that would happen

    you could play them through cloud gaming, but these games cannot function natively on a PC which is what this is.

    While Xbox shares many of the same technologies, it contains strong digital rights management, as well as a custom architecture that is not compatible with the PC

    Can someone help me stop getting stuck on a syncing data screen?

    I had the syncing thing when I was playing Starfield on my Xbox and ROG Ally, weirdly it was always when going from my Ally to my Xbox, not the other way around.

    I eventually worked out what the issue was, I was switching off the Ally as soon as I stopped playing. What's I should have done was leave the Ally on for half an hour or so while it uploaded the save file to the cloud..

    Perhaps that's the issue with you, the game knows there is an updated file, but cant access it because it wasn't uploaded fully. Perhaps turn on your old PC and let the save file upload.
