    FS2004 need help to run on windows 10


    I have low end pc, the only flight simulator i can run is FS2004 (FSX is crashing and is unplayable) My specs are : CPU- Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU G3900T @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz RAM- 4GB

    My problem is that when i try to run the simulator on fullscreen (1600-900) the screen goes black and it starts flickering and blue rotating wheel appears, but, when i press alt-enter it goes windowed and everything is back to normal. Even tough, i recently reinstalled windows 10 (completely), before this, FS2004 went smooth, without any problems, i could have fullscreen for how long i wanted and the menu was functional too. Now for some reason it does not work. If anyone has any tips of fixes, i would be really glad if you would write it down bellow.

    Hi, I'm , an Independent advisor and I can surely help you.

    Don't worry we will work on this together. This means your video card is not functioning well that's why it's crashing. You'll be needing to replace your vid card and this should do the trick.

    Gee thanks for your reply MONTHS after I needed help. Not sure if your remedy will

    work but I will keep it handy just in case Sounds like more few technical moves than most of us should try.. The REAL answer as I have tried to pass on to as many as I could...but didn't have the proper format. MS had a security update years ago KB3086255 that conflicted with FS 2004.

    To make FS2004 work all you need to do is delete that update. One simple step.

    It has a tendency to reappear from time to time based on updates. BUT

    deleting it will will let you run on Windows 7.

    If you set up your Mac with Bootcamp to install a recent Windows 10, then yes.

    But you can't run Game Pass PC/Ultimate on MacOS natively. You will need Windows 10 running on your Mac.
