    Frustratingly slow dashboard


    Basically my dashboard will just freeze for a good 5 seconds before doing anything when all I’m trying to do is play a game. I’ve exchanged my Xbox multiple times thinking it would help. It didn’t. Ive tried on other people’s internet to see if that was
    the case. It wasn’t. Literally dread having to search for anything on Xbox bc I know it’s gonna take a lot longer than it should with all the slowdown. Please tell me u guys are aware of this and are working on it. I’ve been dealing with it for awhile now
    but it recently caught me on a bad day and I came close to throwing the thing out the window.

    Why isnt some new arcade games releasing on 360 but not on x1

    The games really have been a frustratingly slow trickle.

    Netflix is awful on Xbox One. OMG

    all I have to say is Netflix on X1 is awful. video qauality is terrible, major lag, crashing and sometimes long loading times. Netflix is one of my favorite apps for my kids and while it works its frustratingly slow and laggy.

    I really hope they fix this soon.

    Hi, I'd recommend leaving this feedback for Xbox at Xbox Ideas, the official feedback site for Xbox: Xbox Ideas, powered by UserVoice

    I do have one possible recommendation- press the main button to open the guide, then go to Settings > Personalization > Theme & Motion > Uncheck Smooth Transitions. This will disable animations but might help increase your dashboard speed. Your internet
    connection is also a factor that affects the dashboard speed.

    I would suggest a power cycle, you can perform this by holding the power button for 10 seconds until it powers off and then unplug it for 10 seconds and then plug it back in and start it up.

    I am having the same issue. I was downloading an update for a game, and it was frustratingly slow. I went to check what the speed I was getting from there, for kicks, and only get MTU and Latency (a tad higher than normal for me at 28ms). Everything else
    in the house is running fine.
