Fruit ninja Kinect 2 update issue

I purchased Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 online a month ago. Haven't played it yet!! It requires an update which can't complete. Everything else is working, I'm online and able to connect. Anyone else experiences this? BTW where's customer service on this site.

Kinect Sports 1 and 2, Dance Central 2, Fruit Ninja Kinect, and The Gunstringer.

 

Fruit Ninja profile problem

I found a work-around for this Fruit Ninja profile/start issue:

1. Start Fruit Ninja Kinect 2 on the Xbox One.

2. When prompted to confirm your Xbox Live profile, select cancel (as mentioned remedy above)

3. Enter main screen by slicing 'select'...as this should work now ;-)

4. In main screen, go to settings.

5a. Settings menu enables you connect to your profile.

5b. Also, you might want/need to erase your existing game profile here...cleaning up you older Fruit Ninja scores but possibly also erasing the cause of this 'bug'...

Did the trick for me! Slicing fruits again!

 

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that solves the problem?

 

I just bought the game tonight. Having the same issues as stated above. I have check my network it is all good. I power cycled the Xbox by holding the power button. Still says there is a problem with the update.

 

Update I got the game to work but I had to disconnect the Xbox from the internet to get it to work. Obviously not a long term fix, but at least the kids get to enjoy it for now.

 

Disconnecting the internet before starting was a short term fix. It couldn't check for the Update so it ran. Ultimately I did an Uninstall and reinstall and it worked.
