    My Xbox 360 is frozen on the logo screen upon startup. I have tried previously recommended steps to unplug for 5 minutes and reboot several times to not avail. Please advise next steps?

    Did you try the file from the link, it is tailored to that specific error code.

    Read carefully about extracting the file it is vital that it is done correctly or the xbox will not see the update.

    There is a system update file you can download that should fix your update problem. From what you say it looks like the update was being applied from that cracked game disc and just failed.
