    free games given during Gold membership stopped after subscription ends

    Hey Xbox Gamer,

    An active Gold subscription is required to play free games as stated on our
    Games with Gold page.     Once you activate a new subscription, your free games will be playable again.

    Hi welcome to the forum,

    Xbox live doesn't turn on and off once the subscription is active, it sounds like there might be a privacy setting blocking your children from playing online. If you follow the link to this Privacy
    Settings     page it will guide you through the settings. Sadly adding new members does require them to have their own email so a profile can be set up, it's so they don't play on an adult profile and bypass family settings. I hope this helps.

    I tried with new game ( my 1st time playing it) when i did a quest in Oakfield, i tried to return to the town, game froze on me my Xbox made a very loud noise like a jet engine, then went back to my home page. I tried to reload it, it placed me in the same
    spot and froze immediately, i uninstalled game from my drive reinstalled it, my save file came up, froze again. any ideas? Thank you!
