    Frostpunk Xbox Store Probelm


    Today I bought Frostpunk on my Xbox. The game will not install it does not show as a pre order and it does not show in my games that I have bought.

    Upon digging further this game is not out on Xbox yet.

    So the problem is why is the Xbox Console letting me buy a PC only game?

    You cannot search for this game on the Xbox Console. You can only find it through a game called the Long Dark-people also liked recommended games list.

    Has anyone encountered this issue before?

    Hello John, this happens for a simple reason, Frostpunk is not a Playanywhre game, games with this seal have the same license and can be played on console and PC.

    Frostpunk has a version for each platform, and the season pass you purchased is for the console only.

    Can't pre-install Gears 5 with Xbox (Beta) app using Ultimate Game Pass

    Were you able to install it afterall?

    I ran into a similar probelm and all i had to do was go to the official gears 5 tab in the xbox store and install from there. That should do it!

    Hi,

    PC games should not show up on the Xbox Store on the console. Are you saying you saw it there and it let you purchase said game?

    While the Xbox Store on the console accesses a website type interface, it should block out none Xbox games.

    FrostPunk is PC only at the moment. The console versions are scheduled for 'Late 2019' release.

    Frost punk - Polish Language

    Hi,

    I did some research and it appears that Frostpunk indeed supports polish language. There can be two issues here:

    First one is that Frostpunk doesn't push updates on all platforms at the same time, which means that the PC version can support polish with the new update but on Xbox you would have to wait some more

    The second issue is just speculations but maybe Frostpunk on Gamepass is region locked thus making your version only to support certain languages? I'm just assuming here, nothing solid.
