    Frostpunk Xbox Game Pass for PC Issues


    Hello,

    I am a Xbox Game Pass for PC subscriber.

    Recently Frostpunk has been added to the library.

    Unfortunately game crashes just after start, about a second after splash screen.

    I tried to reinstall it and update my drivers but the same from day 1.

    Can you please help me with that?

    Hello John, this happens for a simple reason, Frostpunk is not a Playanywhre game, games with this seal have the same license and can be played on console and PC.

    Frostpunk has a version for each platform, and the season pass you purchased is for the console only.

    Frostpunk Xbox Game Pass for PC Issues

    Ok so I found one solution for this problem for those that have a Geforce RTX 20X0 with Geforce experience installed. The problem is Geforce Experience. Nvidia have this software programmed in such a way that it detects the games that can be optimized(automatically).
    The game is not even recognized in my computer by Geforce experience. This may be an isolated problem of the 2070's , considering is my only test sample. I previously had a Radeon R9 290 and the game will start no problem, same OS and same files. Uninstall
    Geforce experience and problem solved.

    I really hope this helps. It was driving me Crazy.
