Fritz!Box: Change Wireless Channel

Hi sounds like you may need to change the wireless channel on your router as you are probably experiencing interference from other devices.

the issue is with the wireless broadcasting from the dlink box, this will need to be altered using your PC

on the address bar type in http://192.168.0.1 press enter/go

it will ask for username and password

username is : admin

passowrd is : this is left empty click login

left hand side choose wireless setup, choose manually wireless connection setup. on this page untick the first box reguarding WPS this can cause a slight conflict.

further down there is a box enable auto channel selection untick this box and choose channel 01, also on this page, change the network name which might be dlink to something of your own choice.

further down it has wireless security, on the box it should be on WPA/WPA2 wireless security enhanced if not, please change it to it, and on the box where it has passphrase this going to be your wireless password needs to be more than 8, and enter a complex
password letters/numbers press safe settings job done, just on your xbox you'll need to rescan for wireless connection and choose yours.

I have noticed there is a newer Firmware for the 7390 listed, but it is German ... would this be ok for an Australian Fritz?

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear about the issue with the network connectivity on the Xbox One X.

I recommend to try Clearing the Mac addresses on the Xbox.

I get an error message when I run the ‘Test network connection’ on Xbox One.

Try this:

• Select Settings on the Xbox
  
• Select Network
  
• Select Network Settings
  
• Select Advance Settings
  
• Alternate Mac address
  
• Select Clear
  
• Select Restart
  

This step will restart the console. When it reboots, Select Network >Select Network Settings > Set up wireless network.

Try this out and let us know the results.

THIS FIXED THE PROBLEM ON MY ROUTER

Disabling the Teredo filter in the FRITZ!Box

1. Click "Internet" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
2. Click "Filters" in the "Internet" menu.
3. Click on the "Lists" tab.
4. Disable the option "Teredo filter enabled".
5. Click "Apply" to save the settings.
