    Friends say my volume is too low


    about a week ago my friends started telling me they couldn’t really hear me talking. I’ve tried looking for the solution in my setting and nothing seemed to work. Recently I’ve been putting my microphone very close to my mouth and talking loudly, but they
    could still barely hear me. I’m hoping someone can help me.

    some games also have there own mic or voice setting so if its only some games doing it this may be you problem

    Heya!

    This could be caused by a couple things but first let's check the mic volume:

    • Press the Guide button on your controller.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Select Preferences.
    • Select Voice.
    • Increase the volume to 10.

    If this does not seem to assist let's have you test that mic on another controller and test another mic with those controllers.

    Are you using a mic adapter or just a standard mic and which version of the console are you on?

    Unfortunately, is looks like those pictures did not post properly, but to be sure are you using Beats Headphones?

    These may not be the best option for a headset with the console as they are not designed for this kind of use.

    You can try the
    Compatibility guide     to be sure, but if this does help get that working we suggest trying another headset to be sure the issue is not with the controller or console.

    If another headset does not exhibit the same symptoms then the issue is the Beats and we suggest using another type of headset for the console.

    the beats worked fine for a week, after that both of my headsets stopped working, not sure why

    Were you able to follow the guide we sent and follow the tests?

    What were the results?

    Incompatible headsets might work from time to time but this does not guarantee they will always function.

    Unfortunately, is looks like those pictures did not post properly, but to be sure are you using Beats Headphones?
