Friends list not working since update android

I have a galaxy s4 with jelly bean 4.3 and since recent update my friend list shows all my friends as offline

Tried clearing data and reinstalling app and it still shows my friends as offline

Friends list not working

There is a service alert going on right now with the xbox live:

Affected platforms: Xbox One Xbox on other devices Xbox on Windows 10

Affected services: Managing friends lists and tracking what friends are doing

Latest update: Are you having trouble seeing your friends list or viewing the activity of your friends? We want you to know that we're working to get this resolved ASAP! Thank you for your patience, Xbox members. We’ll post another update when more information

Be patient until this issue is solved.

Friend list not working

Hi,

We certainly want to get this taken care of, please follow the instructions on how to successfully power cycle your Xbox One console:

1. Hold the power button down on the front of the console for ten seconds.

2. Once the ten seconds pass you can power the system back up and you should be able to access your Friends List once again.

Let us know how it goes.

I would post this on the "Xbox on Mobile Devices Support" forum. This is most likely a SmartGlass issue not an issue with the Xbox One.

It has to be an issue with the App (android)

Everything is turned on but I get no Friend Online Notifications

It was working 2 Xbox app updates ago

Achievement notifications are delayed

It can be a compatibility with your software as well since it's working just fine on a different devices.

Kindly check if there is an update for your Android phone and then check again.

Yeah Microsoft mentioned raising the Friend's List cap above 100 when they shut down Xbox Originals LIVE, but they haven't spoken of any updates in that department since. Personally I'd rather have them working on cooler projects like the dashboard update
instead of raising the Friend's List cap, but it would still be a welcome addition.

It is the official release for android my brother has an i phone and I have an android and I notice there is a difference. On the i phone you have more bullets to go to meaning pages 5 if I stand corrected as for on android it`s only 3. Also your avatar
never shows up on the android device and it only views the avatars of only some of your friends not all. The xbox live app SERIOUSLY needs to be updated for these bugs on the android device so that it can work to perfection as it does on iphone.
