    Friends list not updating with no notifications


    Friends list not updating in real time & no notifications as to who is online & who is not !! All notification settings are on & xbox & hub have been reset , also reinstalled profile but still the same

    Thank you for confirming. It looks like our best option here is to perform a factory reset.
    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
    Select Reset console.
    On the Reset your console? Please choose “Reset and keep my games & apps”

    If that doesn't work, I recommend that you send a report or file a bug to Team Xbox for them to properly investigate the issue. Check your guide here https://support.xbox.com/help/account-profile/m....

    Hi Matthew! Sorry to hear about what happened. Let's do our best here to sort it out.

    What exactly is your Xbox console model?
    May I also know when was the last time your notifications worked normally?

    To further isolate the issue, please try to sign in or add a different Xbox profile to your console and try to use it if its notifications work fine or not.

    This is happening to me and everyone else too! It’s an issue on Microsoft’s end. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

    Update. It looks like the friend list notification on Xbox and Smartglass is working again. Dec 12th !

    For me at leat. ;)
