Friends cant join my server?

I tried this the message still pops up and i cant join my friends server

Seems like we have done almost everything, but the issue still persists. You may now submit feedback and report this problem to Provide feedback to Team Xbox | Xbox Support.

Here is the step.

Submitting a bug through the Xbox App

1. Navigate to the top right of the application and select your gamerpic icon

2. Select “Feedback” in the drop-down menu

3. Select “Report a problem”

4. Click Give new feedback

5. Add [Xbox Forum] in “Summarize your feedback” followed by a feedback summary

a. Summary should be descriptive and fully detailing the error you are receiving. Links redirecting to this forum post will not be accepted and will cause a delay in your feedback submission.

6. Category should automatically be selected.

7. In the "add more details" category, you will have the option to "Recreate my problem". Recreating the problem will help us further pinpoint the error you are receiving.

Received your private message, can only test when i have my friend available which shall be tonight as we dont game everyday. shall respond when i have had the chance to test it

We really value for your time and effort, apology for the belated response.

Here are some possible work arounds and hope this would work for you.

For Ark and Golf with Friends, you may consider using xCloud to stream those games to get around any university networking rules that are preventing P2P connections. Ark also has server instances that would get around the P2P issues, so that’s another possibility.

For Minecraft, using a Realm would also be an option since you’d then be connecting to an external server to host the game session, rather than trying to make a direct connection between peer consoles.

Hello,

Again it is not minecraft that i am trying to play, it is ark survival evolved. Minecraft was just to see if it was just multiplayer in general that was not working which it is not as golf with friends works when i host and people can join. It seems to have issues with certain games i host so it isnt the game itself as theyve all updated.

So far im paying for a service (game pass) that i have not been able to use for a little over a month now (i waited for updates for a few weeks before reporting to see if updates were the issue) and the advice keeps going back to minecraft which i have stated a few times now wasnt the game im wanting to play as i have it on pc (i have no issues with me hosting multiplayer on pc).

im sorry if this seems rude (i truly dont mean to be), but so far im paying for a service i cant use and the solution keeps either being make sure im on multiplayer, make sure your NAT is open which screenshots have proven that it is or be on a realm for minecraft which isnt the game im interested in.

im happy to explain again the issues with the game i actually want to play which are the same.

1. Load multiplayer server

2. Invite friends

3. Friends get "join failed" message

4. Check server details which say everythings open

5. check xbox details which say everythings open

but, i can join friends ark servers. the issue with this is that the main servers we use i have hosted so everything we have is currently on my saves that they cant access because they cant join my servers like they used to be able to last month.

My last option is to make a new account which means i truly loose everything which i dont want to do since ive already had to factory reset my xbox which didnt work so i lost all of my saves besides one server for no reason and i have had this account for years
