    Friends can't hear me during Party Chat


    To start off, I use a phone. I dont have a mic, and use my phone speakers instead. Today, when I joined a friends party, they couldn't hear me, but I could hear them. I tried a lot of stuff, support, troubleshooting, nothing worked. As a last resort, I'm asking here. Can someone please tell me what's wrong and how to fix it? Thanks in advance! -MM

    Ah, iPhone....I have a complete knowledge gap there as I don't like Apple so I will be no use

    However, a couple of further questions:

    - It sounds like the party chats were working fine before yes? And then suddenly stopped?

    - Was there a phone update at all?

    - Have you checked to make sure whatever app you use for the parties (presumably the Xbox App) doesn't have an update?

    - I assume you have double-checked to make sure your phone hasn't suddenly revoked Microphone access to said app?

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    Please sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and from there make sure that the settings that have an arrow on this screenshot are set to allow.

    If they're already set to allow please block them then submit and lastly, allow them again then submit. Make sure to restart your device to apply the changes.

    What make and model is your phone please? I ask as different phones have different settings etc and may have little quirks

    Xbox One Stereo Headset Mic Not Working for Party Chat

    I can't chat in party or game with oem chat headset and i recently purchased the headset adapter and the official xbox stereo headset, same problem. I can hear people in party and game chat, yet they can't hear me.

    My controller is updated.

    I first had this issue during the titanfall beta...in a match, everything's good, i can hear friends and they can hear me, out of the blue they can't hear me anymore. Hasn't worked since.

    I've tried everything, no effect. My new controller arrives today. maybe it's a controller issue. I'll let everyone know.

    I was preview program as well.
