Friends are complaining they are getting notifications many times a s day I'm online even...

This is a bit of a weird issue, do you play on PC or console? I had something similar happen to me once, and what worked was logging out from all devices and only signing back in on the one I was using. Give this a shot: Go to your Microsoft Account Security page and click "Sign out everywhere."

How long, does the light flash for..?? Is it constantly flashing or does it flash about 6-7 times & it stops... Everytime, you get a notification.. [ie one of your friends logs on or you get a message..] The lights, on the Controller/s & Console, will flash
until all notifications have stopped...

You could be getting a notification when you start game.. For how many friends online, what friends are playing MW3 & Lights will flash etc...

Ive been having the same problem for the past few days. No beacons or friend notifications ever appear. it doesnt even tell me how many friends i have online when i sign on to live.

@ U gO, I might try this next time I'm on my Xbox 1 console (it's 1 am for me).

It would be great if it works like friend notifications on the 360 (eg. you sign into Xbox, Xbox tells you how many friends are using their Xbox 360/Xbox 1 console online). I'm not really into categorizing my friends. But for Xbox 1, I've already favourite'd
my favourite friends just so that I can get a notification when they come online.

Since Xbox 1 Launched, for me, the dash brings up a pop up box even when X friends come online. We're no longer friends and not following each other, yet the dash always shows a pop up notification when they come online. I agree with Lei Fang, it must be
a glitch. I like like the Windows 10 feel of Xbox 1's UI which it has now, but I'm still getting those notifications of when X friends come online.
