Friends and online gaming

My friends activity status wont refresh and most of my friends are stuck as “offline” or “last seen 20 days ago” even though they have been online or are online. This is starting to effect my game play as i can no longer tell when they’re online and can
no longer join their games / play with them. I‘ve updated and restarted my console many times, unfriended my friends, restarted, then added them again, disconnected from my network and tried to log into a different console and it still hasn‘t fixed the issue.
Any ideas?

Did you by chance change your online status to offline or do not disturb?

It's possible that they have they're status set to "appear offline" which would cause them to show up on your list as offline even if they are playing.

Sorry to hear that you're having issues. Does this happen with other games or just For Honor in particular? Have you already power cycled your Xbox One?
