Friend request from xbox1

Discus and support Friend request from xbox1 in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Hi, Im on xbox 360. How do I except a friend request or add a friend if they are on xbox 1?     Hi, Im on xbox 360. How do I except a friend request or add a friend if they are on xbox 1? They say I am on their list but I can't find them on mine. Or I can't see anyway to add them. I can see a friend message but I can't add them.

    I it possible to be friends with an XBox1 user, when I am on a 360? It is allowing me to send a request, but he is not receiving it..I cannot message him from the X Box but can from I Pad.

    Do other people get requests from people that they don't know? The other night I got two, one was actually from a buddy that had to setup a new account since his last one was hacked. The other I have no idea who the person is and they wont reply to a message. Can you block yourself from a public list?

    The friend system doesn't work the same on the One as on the 360. On the One it's a "followers" system so they probably added you, but you won't get an actual request to add them too. You would need to follow these steps to add friends -

    Talk them into playing a backward compatible 360 game from XBOX1 then they be in the backward compatibility mode. Then when playing tell them to send ya friend request again on 360 mode. Will work. I did that.

    I thought to get the 360 menu on the XBox1 while in a 360 game was by pressing the 2 buttons below the Nexus button simultaneously.

    From there choose mail and accept friend request etc

    Well they need to release some decent 360 games to lure in rest of the 360 players that haven't bought XBOX1. I have tons of friends that haven't bought XBOX1 yet.
