Friend referral issue!

My brother just got an xbox one,When I Go to invite him to join gold I cant find his name, only 2 other friends thats it. the account is brand new , never had gold before

Friend Referral Program

As mentioned on the webpage when you register, and in the email you receive confirming your opt-in to the program, it can take up to two days to complete a Xbox Live Rewards registration. Additionally, we see that you opted-out of the program and then opted
back in, which canceled a referral that would have been pending from your first referral. Please note that it can take up to two days for a registration to be completed. When you can see a join by date that is a recent date and not "???" on your MyRewards
page, you will know that your registration into the program will be complete and you will begin to be active for our offers.

Friend Referral Program

I just bought an Xbox One S. I signed up for Xbox Live Rewards (free account) before purchasing Xbox Live Gold. My friend sent me a referral to join Xbox Live Gold so that we could get the rewards credits for referring a friend. My friend sees the request
as pending, but I did not get the link to join Xbox Live Gold. I went ahead and joined Gold anyways so I could get Forza Motorsports 5 for free. Will we still get the rewards credits for referring a friend? I know that I have to be a member of Xbox Live
Gold for at least 30 days before we'll get the credits. I also had another friend send me a referral and it shows pending for them as well, but I did not get the referral from any of my friends. I chatted with Xbox Support and they just referred me to the
Terms and Conditions and this forum.

It usually takes about 96 hours for the program to recognizes changes so the program may not see his account yet. He would also have to be a rewards member in order to be eligible, but since the program is about to shut down in most countries, he may not
be able to sign up.

Since the program is ending, new referrals have been disabled.

What referral offer are you having issue with? There is no offer to simply refer a friend to sign up for Xbox Live Rewards.

We see that one of your recent referrals from August was just awarded. However, your other friend's referral, which you made in early September, used a prepaid subscription card. Since only subscriptions made using the referral link are eligible for this
offer, they have not completed the referral offer.
