    my friend is permanently mute don’t on my xbox and and eveytime try to unmite him nothing happens. i blocked him before and i can hear everyone else, and we’ve tried most things as well. please can someone help please ?

    Hi guys, I have been trying for a week now and it doesn’t look like anyone else has had this problem... A week ago I accidentally muted my friend on Xbox, Now he is permanently muted. I have tried to unmute him but it always switches back to saying I have
    to unmute him... I can hear everyone and he can hear everyone it’s just that I can’t hear him, he can hear me fine though... We are not on the same internet connection which makes it even more complicated, the only posts I have seen about this is when 2 people
    are on the same connection... anyone got a solution?

    I’ve signed in and out and now he’s no longer muted but i still can’t hear him?

    At the moment, there's currently a service alert specifically for those automatically muted in parties. For any updates on this, we recommend keeping an eye on the service status
    page. Rest assured, the proper teams are looking into this so no worries there!

    Are you on a console that is in the preview program? If so, be sure to report the bug through the console.

    Also be aware, there is currently an
    active service alert     about party issues.

    Once the alert is resolved, see if the issue clears up.
