Friend list showing empty

Discus and support Friend list showing empty in XBoX Rewards & Social to solve the problem; I made a new account and added one of my friends there. When I go to my friend list, it shows empty.     I made a new account and added one of my friends there. When I go to my friend list, it shows empty. It doesn’t say that anyone is offline it just doesn’t show any friends. We tried unfriending and befriending again but now when I press “Submit” to add him as a friend, it says something like “Sorry, we couldn’t save your changes. Please try again in a while.” I tried resetting the Xbox, restarting, power restart and signing out and back in. Nothing works. Now I can’t add anyone as a friend because it gives me the same message, and the friends I already had are missing from my friend list. I’m on Xbox series S

    Hi there,

    There is currently a Live service alert (support.xbox.com/.../xbox-live-status) which says the following:

    "Having a tough time viewing the online state and activity of other users on your Friends list? Us too, but we’re doing our best to straighten things out soon. Thanks for your understanding while we work. Feel free to check back in half an hour for an update
    on our progress."

    I know it's been going on for a few hours now. It's not just you.

    Says I have no friends added when trying to invite my friend.

    I'm on PC, I have a similar, but different issue. my friends list is empty, but if I go to my messages and click on the profiles of my friends, they then reappear on my friends list. Even though my profile shows 200+ followers and 69 friends, my friends list is still empty. and yes I am signed in to my Xbox account.

    Yes I just got this issue today. I quickly ran towards the forums to find an solution, but after restarting my console for the third time my friends list and friends started to appear again. I don't know why that happened, but it was fixed after a few tries.
